Hiya, I’m Milo! I’m a queer and trans photographer, elopement expert, road trip wizard, and your personal hype crew! I’ve spent years living on the road in my self-made camper van, chasing stunning sights and documenting queer love in the wildest places. Now I want to share what I’ve learned with you!
What makes Folksy Elopements different?
I’ll handle the details—you get to be fully present!
No need for you to worry about logistics, locations, or how the day will flow… that’s my job! I’m the one who takes care of knowing what permits we need, timelines, weather calls, and finding the best spots for all your photos.
When you’re not stressing over details, you get to relax and actually experience the moment as it unfolds. Steal kisses during downtime! Make each other laugh with that dumb inside joke! On your special day, your only job should be loving each other. That’s when the real magic happens.

On their wedding day, so many queer couples end up saddled with the emotional labor of correcting pronouns, explaining gender dynamics, or otherwise navigating uncomfortable assumptions from their vendors.

As a queer and trans person myself, my focus is making you feel seen. I understand the nuances of identity, safety, and belonging. That means you get to show up fully as yourselves without having to second guess. Authenticity is what we strive for!
